Cables Geocables is an add-on for Blender that enables artists to easily create procedural hanging cables. This tool takes advantage of Geometry Nodes, which permit users to draw cables on surfaces, turn objects into cables, and adorn them with connectors of choice.
Amandeep – Geocables Features
- Object Mode Drawing: Drawing cables with one click makes the entire process quick and simple and minimizes the need for thinking.
- Change Forex To Forex: Defining the borders of pre-existing items into cables can now be done with one click, eliminating the need for wires to be made.
- Flexible Adapters: The ability to attach different connectors to cables improves functionality and makes distinct designs possible.
- More Refined Simulation Parameters: More sophisticated settings allow for better simulation of the cloth and cable dynamics for more convincing animations.
- Panel Integration: The GeoCables panel can be found in the ‘A-Tools’ of the N-Panel allowing for ease of access to all features.
- Snap Split Functions: The CTRL key snaps selected points to face centres, and ALT splits cables. This makes positioning the cables more convenient and accurate.
- Randomization: Attribute randomization, such as design variation drip-on segments, increases realism.
