Amandeep designed the Old Auto Smooth Add-On for an older Blender version to bring back the familiar way Auto Smoothing used to work. It lets the user turn smoothing on and off and set restricted angles under Object Data. The modifier is also organized within the stack to ensure the workflow is productive.

• It replicates the Auto Smooth feature from older versions of Blender, allowing for a simple workflow for people accustomed to the software’s older edits.
• Places the auto-smooth modifier in the lowest position in the modifier stack so that it does not conflict with other modifiers such as multi-resolution.
• It provides a simple interface for toggling the automatic smooth function and setting the angle limit simultaneously through the Object Data tab.
• To streamline the workflow, Quick Access Shortcut provides a shortcut key labelled “OAS,” which enables the user to apply auto-smooth to selected objects much more simply.
